Scottish Coal Carrying Championships 2025

The Scottish Coal Carrying Championships will take place on Saturday 30th August 2025 in Kelty, Fife.

Race Categories :

• Adult Men's Race : Age 18 and over : Carrying 50 kg of Coal over 1000m,.
• Adult Ladies Race : Age 18 and over : Carrying 25 kg of Coal over 1000m.

Routes:

• Adult Races : Start at approx. Flower Street and end at the finish line (which is between Moray Institute & Kelty Primary)

Adult Races : £25.00

There is an option to add a donation of either £5, £10 or £15 to your entry.

Chip timing only for the Adults races.

All entry fees are non refundable
